Love | Architect Ray Kappe’s Modernist Home in LA - Now For Sale

Ray Kappe’s iconic Pacific Palisades home—designed by the architect for himself in 1967—has hit the market for the first time in nearly 60 years. Listed for $11.5 Million in Rustic Canyon, the seven-level modernist residence blends redwood, glass, and concrete to create a striking indoor-outdoor connection and is widely regarded as a landmark of Southern California architecture.

Former president, Stephen Kanner, of Los Angeles A+D Architecture and Design Museum, said of the home;  "It just may be the greatest house in Southern California."

I've had the fortunate honor over my many years in Los Angeles Real Estate to represent a number of Ray Kappe's designed homes. His work was indeed iconic and he continued to work on innovative projects always pushing his ideas and design forward through the decades.
