Love | Electric Bowery Architects transform a 1920s Venice Craftsman Compound

A Venice Craftsman Compound Transformed by Electric Bowery Architects

“Feels like a small Italian Village - Our plan was to create a coastal seaside compound and take the best of the Venice Craftsman design and make it old-world, timeless, a bit more sophisticated, and moodier."

Having represented the sale of the Windsor Row Townhomes. 12 - Ultra Luxe Architectural Homes located on the border of Hancock Park and Korea Town - designed by Venice based architecture firm, Electric Bowery. I was thrilled to discover their newest endeavor featured in Arch Digest. Tech entrepreneurs Julia DeWahl and Daniel Romero transformed a 1920s Venice Craftsman compound into a charming, multigenerational retreat with the help of architecture firm Electric Bowery. Spanning four unique structures across two lots, the home blends original woodwork and stained glass with bold colors, modern comforts, and lush gardens. With a poolside Snack Shack, treehouse, and breezy indoor-outdoor spaces, the property feels like a cozy Italian village tucked into the heart of LA.
