LA native Zach Pollack opens Cosetta in Santa Monica

As a big fan of Alimento & Cosa Buona, l made being at opening night a priority and it was amazing - as anticipated. We took the kiddos and sat on the oversized patio which was both children and pup friendly. As much as you will want to try all of the pizza, pasta and milanesi don't skip the Raw Bar, even our 8 year old couldn't resist the Albacore, Bluefin Tartare and Kampachi -  paired with a craft cocktail and ocean breezes.

Cosetta, is the newest addition to Santa Monica’s dining scene. If you love a good origin story as much as a great meal, you’ll want to check out LA native Zach Pollack who fell in love with Italian cooking while studying architecture in Florence—and never looked back. He immersed himself in Italy’s culinary world for nearly two years, working everywhere from Michelin-starred kitchens to rustic farms in Sardegna. Back in LA, he made his mark with beloved spots like Alimento and Cosa Buona. Now, after three years in the making, Cosetta is finally open, promising fresh, soulful Italian fare just steps from the beach.
