Let's Wander | Planning A Trip To Japan
I love Japan. The energy and sophistication of Tokyo. The awe inspiring delicate pink hues as the cherry blossoms bloom in Kyoto. The fiery red-orange sunset over Mt Fuji - awe, I miss it. My mom recently informed me she would be traveling to this amazing place, so I wanted to share some things to do while traversing the Japanese land and culture.
Tokyo is a city where tradition meets modern energy. Japan has been a popular getaway for 2025 and I know many people who say it is one of their favorite destinations, it is definitely one of mine. If you are planning your next trip, don’t miss the chance to watch a breathtaking Mt. Fuji sunset, enjoy lively evenings at local izakayas with fresh seafood and sake, and hunt for vintage finds in the trendy Shimokitazawa neighborhood. Be sure to visit iconic shrines like Meiji Jingu and Senso-ji, and check out Gotokuji, the birthplace of the lucky cat statue. For food lovers, Tokyo’s Michelin-starred restaurants offer unforgettable sushi, kaiseki, and French cuisine experiences. It’s a city full of unique moments waiting to be discovered.
